I've followed Nancie Wiseman for years with her brilliant knitting designs. When this book popped up, I was quite intrigued to learn Nancie's take on sweatshirts-turned-jackets. The jackets are gorgeous!

The author explains how to deconstruct an ordinary sweatshirt, layer it with fabric, and sew it into a warm, comfortable, stylish jacket. The instructions are not difficult - intuitive, in fact. The only thing difficult is to believe these lovely jackets were once ordinary sweatshirts.

I found the book I had been searching for in like new condition for only $.41! I am well satisfied with my purchase.

This book gave tips on how to revise sweatshirts in ways that I should have thought of years ago but never did. Well worth the price-in fact, it was a steal! I would recommend this book to anyone who can sew.

I've had this book for years and have used the principles in it to make many sweatshirts into comfortable cardigans. They are wonderful for slipping on and off easily when you have arthritis and aren't as heavy as a regular jacket. By coordinating fabric you can make a cardigan that matches your pants and skirts. Using the ideas in this book there are many ways to adapt and make nice looking cover-ups for disabled people who have special dressing needs such as larger neckholes, etc.

This product arrived in a very quickly after ordering. It was well packaged and in perfect condition. I was very happy with the quality of the fabric and stitching and it was well-worth the price! It was a gift for a relative who lives in Utah and he was delighted with it.

I was hoping this book would have cute sweatshirts like the ones I've see at craft shows selling for $40++. There isn't one pattern in this book that I would consider making or wearing.

This is a wonderful learning tool for young and old. I've made several from the many patterns and they all turned out great. I embroider designs on them for the grandchildren's Christmas gifts this year. These are multi size range, NOT TISSUE patterns but heavy paper that are great to trace over and over again! The collections of patterns are interchangeable to create your own look.

Mary Mulari has delighted me in the past, so I trusted this purchase. What a disappointment! The designs are out-of-date and very uninteresting. I wouldn't make any of them. This is just not up to Mulari's other work.

Although the crochet sweatshirt trims were okay, I guess I am a little lazy and was looking for a way to create a trim right on the sweatshirt without having to create it and then sew it on. Too many steps for me and so I returned the book.
