If you must buy self help books on getting women then I think Brodsky's are the best, and I've read a few self help books in my time. Out of interest, I do actually have a girlfriend but enjoy "educating myself".

Anyway I say "If you must" because in Brodsky's own words "all some self-help gurus do is spin a load of sh11t and serve it up the helpless".

Hes right. I've read a few nicely bound expensive books on the opposite sex laden with promises on how the sacred information contained within is the holy grail in terms of being a hit with the opposite sex. These books normally start with many chapters telling you how great its going to be when you've been told this information and how your life will change. But then you get to the end of the book and realise it never happened, it was just all padding and it didn't say anything and you learned nothing. Suckered. I won't name such books cos I don't want to look like I work for Brodsky and am promoting his work whilst taking a swipe at the opposition. I work in IT and have nothing to do with Gary Brodsky.

Anyway I digress. Brodksy's style is bold, to the point, full of bad language, homophobic and he uses all manner of derogatory terms for women. However it is also compelling and it sure gets your attention.

The book is short and won't take long to read but gets to the point. There is plenty in this book for you to think about so don't feel ripped off in that it is short. You can only take so much in.

If you are smart enough to be able to ignore the style (which some will find offensive) then you will see that he keeps on hitting the bullseye with many crucial and true points. You only need to look at examples of your own life and your friends to see that they are true. He boldly "says it as it is".

So would I like to share some of them to show I'm not bsh11tting. Ok then, though I don't want to make this into an essay.

1) To quote "Puuussy is just a commodity. But, if inside your head you over-inflate the value of that commodity, you're putting yourself into a sucker corner. She knows this is stupid on you part, so this makes you stupid in her eyes."

Many guys just come off as being desperate when on the prowl. If this is obvious, why do guys still do it? And as Brodsky says

"who wants to do anything except fk with them"

thats fk them, NOT fk with them.

2) A good explanation of the whole women and bad boys thing

3) The benefit of occasional compliments compared to constant flattery.

4) Asking her opinions about things, NOT her advice.

5) To quote from the book

"Accepting women's advice just breeds comtempt. Women get their disdain shields up pretty quick toward any man who listens to them. Its a variation on the old Groucho Marx line: 'Personally I wouldn't belong to any club that would have me as a member'. Any guy who follows up on advice will be a broke, blithering idiot in no time. And in case you hadn't noticed, broke blithering idiots rarely get laid. "

The book makes thought provoking reading.
