Having heard this story told by the author herself I fell in love with it the first time I heard it. As a teacher it is great for teaching predictions, but as a reader it is an entertaining story that delights everytime. My students love the story and beg to borrow the book to read it for themselves. The illustrations are excellent and add to the story's humor.

When I saw this book in the store a week or so after I saw "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" movie, I knew that it would be one which I would greatly enjoy. It has interviews with the cast and stuff, facts about how they made the film, and loads and loads of photos (many of which have funny captions). It also has a personality quiz (no surprise to me, I was most like Lena). I'm not sure if it needs to tell the story of the film, but it's nice to recap. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

Larry North is the real deal. I lost more than 60 pounds on his program about 6 years ago and have been living the Larry North program lifestyle ever since. This 7-Day size down is amazing. I have used it several times over the years and if you do what he tells you exactly, it works! This is not a program you do every day for the rest of your life. His book, Slim Down for Life, is what you want to use for that. But the 7-Day size down is perfect for that post-vacation gluttony weight gain or that I just want my pants or skirt to be a bit more comfortable or the I want to look great before a special occasion. Again, this program is strict and it works if you follow it.

This creative book of cartoons and satire runs the gamut from "real" to "wish it wasn't so real". The cartoons portray scenes of everything from classroom life, to inclusion teams, educational wit, therapists and of course children. While exploring this book I reacted to every page! From "Oh, I know that child", to "Yes, we do that", to "Oh no, there's that parent, (child), (teacher)", to "We do look pretty silly at times!" or "Wow we're doing a great job", and much, much, more! Worth having if you work in any area of education. Wonderful to share at meetings and in-service training.

My 4 year old daughter loved this book. She wanted to read it again and again. Great, story with the right amount of repetition and cute pictures. My daughter was able to 'read' it by memory after a few times and I loved seeing her be independant with the book. I am buying one for a gift too.

It was great! It made me wish it was longer so I could hear more adventures. And when I got to the part where they announced the battle cry, I said, "ooohhh" - the title!

I loved all of the science you magically wove into the text and casual conversation of the story. I have a neighbor who will be homeschooling her boys starting this year and can't wait to tell her about it and the gel ant farm - she will be all over it! I will be passing it on to my kid's teachers as well.

I loved the subtle humor and innocence of the characters and the honesty of the real circle of life. I learned a lot as well. Much of the specifics were new to me. There was coincidently a special on animal planet all about ants - and because of your book, I was familiar with what they covered on ant physiology and habits for survival.

I think a teaching guide and perhaps and outline per chapter of what topics are introduced in each would be cool. That will be the first thing I do so that I have a quick reference to go back to for the science material. Might be good to find ant videos available and suggest them to go along with the teaching of the book for those visual learners.

I can't wait to hear more adventures - why don't you create some for butterflies/moths, ladybugs, bees, spiders and locusts :)

For an early reader "Are There Ants In Your Pants" helps identify rhyming words in the English language. It has a fun, light, creative approach with bright illustrations and highlights of one word within another from one page to the next. The copy at our library is well-worn, proving this book will be requested again & again by your toddler/preschooler.

Amy's style is consistent in all of her products--she has a wonderful sense of humor, as is obvious here. "Is a chair made of hair?" These questions, posed properly by an involved caretaker or parent, can really bring on the giggles!

It is written in a concise, straight to the point style that delivers tremendous content per square inch. You can read this book over and over and get new ideas each time for becoming better at marketing.

This book is very playful and informative. The drawing have an old-world charm and innocence. The rhymes are fun for kids. I'm sending it to my nieces and nephews so that they can enjoy it and maybe not fear bugs so much.
